If there's one thing that NVR does that just blows me away, it's the memory manager.
I never really had any issues playing New Vegas under Windows 7, but the experience in Windows 10 is hideous. Any time something needs to be moved around in RAM (or VRAM?), chances are good it causes a stutter. Loading assets, such as when loading new cells, causes a steady stream of random stutters. Even panning the camera, and the off-camera culling that occurs as a background process, generates its own stutter some of the time.
NVR almost completely eliminates this. And it's evidently the only thing that can.
So if I were interested in using NVR strictly and solely for its memory manager, would that be a possibility?
