the terrain shader causes the world lod lighting to invert, making shadows where there should be highlights and highlights where there should be shade above image is with terrain.fx enabled and this image is with the shader disabledof course this problem only affects LOD's, the area surrounding the player is fine in my experience this bug has been present in every iteration of oblivion reloaded and as such I had always avoided using the shader - that is until now now the real time shadows in v7.0 are reliant on this terrain shader and I cant go without using it please explain how to fix this, or remove shadow dependency from terrain.fx

There are no shadows on lod in OR.......so i dont know what are you speaking about..............it seems that OR is the problem of all Oblivion's bugs or other mods bugs or any incorrect configuration........and terrain.fx is not part of OR.

He's referring to the shading of the ground being inverted by the terrain shader, as opposed to shadow casting.

OR doesnt work on the LOD terrain for shadows. Shadows are ONLY on the near grid. And i repeat, the terrain.fx is not part of OR, so i dont know what we are speaking about.

Why do you ask that to me??! It could be from an other mod! I have no idea! terrain.fx is not a vanilla game file and it is not an OR file!
